2010 Hilliard Lyons Health and Fitness Classic

For the second year in a row, Team LinGate took home the Corporate Challenge trophy with this group of fierce competitors participating in the walking, running, and biking events.





 

2010 Hilliard Lyons Health and Fitness Classic

The Team LinGate kids participated in multiple events; while 3 of them took home some hardware for their efforts. Carly Widmer placed 1st in the 8-9 year old girls run; Hayden Glover places 1st in the 6-7 boys run; and Hadley Bacon placed 2nd place in the 3 and under category.




 

2010 Country Music Nashville ˝ Marathon and Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon

A first for two Team LinGate runners! Deanna Glover competed in her first ˝ marathon at the Nashville Country Music ˝ Marathon in a time of 2:36 and Claude Bacon competed in his first full marathon at the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon in a time of 4:21.





 

2010 Shiner GHASP- 100 Mile Cycling Ride – Austin, Texas

Team LinGater Claude Bacon and 5 affiliate members biked 100 miles from Austin, TX – Shiner, TX to benefit the American Cancer Society.





 

2010 St. Patrick’s Day Dash 10K-5K Run/Walk

Team LinGate’s second year of participation in the dash lead Brenda Westerfield to another medal finish! The Team also added Taylor Widmer as a competitor this year.

Also, Team LinGate’s Andrea Widmer and Claude Bacon came back for another round of fun!






2010 Special Olympics Texas

Hilton Garden Inn, Round Rock Texas leaders Robert Murdock, General Manager; Juan Marroquin, Sales Manager and Sarah Linstead, Director of Sales volunteered to assist the Special Olympics bowlers during their annual competition.






2009 Hilliard Lyons Health and Fitness Classic

Team LinGate “ran” away with big honors at the Classic and winning the Corporate Challenge Award by registering 23 participants and LinGate VP Brenda Westerfield came away with a 2nd place age group finish! Other participants competed in the 46K cycling ride, 10K run, and 5K run/walk. The Classic benefits the local YMCA.

The Little LinGaters competed in the Kid’s
Fun Run and blew away the competition
by placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in multiple
age categories.





Owensboro BBQ Festival 5K Run & Walk

Led by LinGate CEO Glenn Higdon, TEAM LINGATE came out in
full force for the Owensboro BBQ Festivals 5K Run and Walk!
The annual event supports the local YMCA.


 

 

St. Patrick’s Day Dash 10K-5K Run/Walk

Team LinGate crew (L to R) Brad Devine, Catherine Devine, Deanna Glover, Andrea Widmer,
Samantha Bacon, Claude Bacon, Brenda Westerfield, and Darrell Baird braved a cold March
morning to run and walk for the St. Patrick’s Day Dash 10K and 5K. Brenda Westerfield took
home first place in the 5K walk (pictured at right) and Deanna Glover placed 2nd in the 5K run!


 

 

2009 TEXAS Special Olympics Winter Games

Hampton Austin; Sarah Linstead, DOS HGI Austin & Round Rock; and Krista Chavez, DOS
Hampton Austin, aided the event which hosted 2300 Special Olympic Bowlers.


 
Team LinGate members Deanna Glover and Andrea
  Widmer both took the plunge to benefit Kentucky
   Special Olympics.

   They wore princess hats for their plunge and also wore
  pink and white shirts and a pair of shorts with hearts on
them in honor of Valentine's Day.

While this Team LinGate crew didn’t have the best score in the end.....they did win for best shirt!
The Komen Bowl for the Cure is in support of the eradication of breast cancer.
