History of LinGate LinGate has been serving the hospitality industry since 1986 and is comprised of two companies; Linmar Hospitality and Gateway Lodging. The company began with a single property in Tennessee and quickly grew into franchising multiple properties within Marriott and Hilton brands. Founder and CEO, Glenn Higdon created LinGate with a strong business structure and the thoughtfulness of customer service in mind. Since inception, LinGate has developed and managed 20 properties, acquired and managed 7 properties, and have multiple management-only agreements. LinGate’s geographical property history spans as far west as Colorado and as far east as North Carolina. LinGate’s corporate headquarters is located in Owensboro, Kentucky. Currently, LinGate’s portfolio includes 19 properties either owned and/or managed. Eighteen of these properties are either Marriott or Hilton brands.
